Fall NIMS ICS Position Specific Training | Hub & Spoke Event
In a partnership between the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Colorado Wildland Fire & Incident Management Academy, California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, the Incident Management Teams Association (IMTA), and FEMA Region’s 8, 9 and the Emergency Management Institute (EMI), we announce an opportunity for Incident Management Team (IMT) members to participate in the Fall Hub & Spoke Event. Classes will be delivered in a “hybrid format” with hub classrooms located in Colorado and California and spoke classrooms located across the nation.

It’s All Fun and Games: Utilizing ICS During Planned Events Presenter: Troy Lutrick
Is your jurisdiction as prepared as it could be when a planned special event gets turned upside down? This workshop will equip you with the knowledge necessary to handle such unexpected situations effectively. Through case studies of real-life examples, we will explore the lessons learned from these tragedies, offering insights on how to better prepare in the future. Attendance is free and open to all active South Carolina fire, police, EMS, and dispatch personnel.

Leadership Starts Inside Presenter: Brian Anderson
All too often, leaders are so engrained in service to others that they forget about themselves. Prioritizing mental health and well-being is essential for effective leadership and sustained service. All refunds and cancellations of exhibit booth fees and sponsorships must be in writing to AHIMTA by February 12, 2025. Cancellations will be refunded until this date, less a 25% administrative fee. There will be no refunds after this date.
